Mr. Joseph "Joe" Pincetich

An Oregon native, Mr. Pincetich grew up in the San Fernando Valley, attended Notre Dame High School in Sherman Oaks, received his Bachelors degree in Music and teaching credential from California State University, Northridge and received his Masters of Science in Learning Design and Technology from Purdue. Mr. Pincetich and his wife moved to Lancaster in 1988 and began their family. They have two sons who both graduated from Paraclete High School and have received their Bachelor’s Degrees from Purdue University in Physics and Computer Science, respectively.

For 34 years, Mr. Pincetich taught in the Antelope Valley Union High School District as an Instrumental Music teacher and Band Director. His groups competed in Honolulu, Hawaii as well as having twice represented the state of California in the National Independence Day Parade in Washington, D.C. on July 4th. Mr. Pincetich has been involved in writing successful curriculum and policies and is bringing this experience and expertise to the Eastside Union School District.

Mr. Pincetich (retired) and his wife are both teachers. They believe in the power of a good education and they have dedicated their lives to making sure that their sons and their students get the best possible foundation from which to build a successful life. With more than 34 years in the classroom, Mr. Pincetich has a wealth of experience that he brings to the Eastside Union School District. His current focus is to increase safety in the schools and positive student behavior in the classroom. He also wants to make sure that our students get access to current technologies and that teachers and parents get the tools to communicate and act as a team to provide the very best education possible to each and every student. Another priority is making sure that the fiscal policies of the District are sound and provide the best possible learning opportunities for our children.
