Hours of Operation
The Human Resources Department is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Our office is located at the Eastside Union School District Office.

Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources

Dr. Eric C. Guerrero is an accomplished educational leader with more than 15 years of experience in teaching, site leadership, and district administration. He currently serves as the Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources for Eastside Union School District, where he provides strategic oversight of personnel services, staffing, compliance, and employee relations. Previously, he served as Executive Director and Director of Personnel & Pupil Services at Sulphur Springs Union School District, as well as Principal and Assistant Principal in both Sulphur Springs and Eastside Union school districts.
 
Dr. Guerrero earned his Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from the University of Southern California, complemented by advanced degrees from Pepperdine University and National University. His doctoral research focused on governance training and its impact on school district leadership and student achievement. A credentialed administrator and certified negotiator, he has extensive experience in employee management, policy development, school safety, and instructional support systems.
 
With his return to Eastside Union School District, where he began his career as an educator, Dr. Guerrero is committed to leading with integrity in service to students, staff, and the broader community. His leadership is guided by a deep belief in collaboration, equity, and the continuous improvement of educational systems to support student success.
