Fiscal Services
The Fiscal Services department is responsible for the development and control of all school district funds, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets and investments of the district. Along with the basic accounting functions, the Fiscal Services department maintains compliance with all required state and federal reports including attendance. Our motivation is student achievement; we strive toward this by providing professional service, assistance, clarification and cooperation not only within the district, but throughout the community.

Payroll Specialist
Payroll Processing
- Process payroll for all employee classifications (e.g., Certificated, Classified, Substitutes)
- Calculate and process wages, overtime, bonuses, stipends, and retroactive pay
- Handle special year-end payouts (e.g., CSESAP, stipends, vacation)
- Process additional duty and extra time timesheets
- Handles payroll corrections and adjustments
- Process workers’ compensation payments
- W-2
Deductions & Disbursements
- Process payroll deductions (e.g., benefits, retirement, union dues, garnishments, levies)
- Disburse payroll deductions to appropriate third parties
- Manage refunds related to payroll deductions
Leave & Absences
- Assist in tracking and managing employee leaves
- Track and manage employees leave balances (sick, vacation, personal)
- Process sick leave transfers (incoming and outgoing)
- Input absences for employees who do not require a substitute
- Monitor leave accruals and limits
- Process sick leave and vacation payouts
Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and district payroll regulations
- Prepare and submit payroll reports for internal and external use
- Process payroll taxes
- Process Quarterly and Annual Taxes (e.g., IRS & EDD)
- Reconcile payroll timesheets with Frontline to prevent discrepancies
- Maintain accurate and confidential payroll records
- Coordinate with HR and Finance for audits and required reporting
