Dr. Fullwood has a doctorate in organizational leadership from Brandman University, a master’s degree in education counseling from CSU Dominguez Hills, and a bachelor’s degree in business management from Pepperdine University. Coursework to earn an Administrative Services Credential and Clear Multiple Subject Credential/CLAD round out her educational preparation.

Dr. Fullwood is involved with several professional organizations, including the Association of California School Administrators (ACSA) and the California School Boards Association (CSBA). She is involved in supporting foster youth and ensuring that students have access to instructional programs in school and at home. Dr. Fullwood is also a sought-after guest speaker and consultant, offering her expertise in various educational forums and settings.

On a personal note, Dr. Fullwood is a California native and has called the Antelope Valley Community her home for nearly twenty years. She enjoys spending her time with her family and friends and is known as the family social planner. She is an avid travel buff, studying people and cultures around the world.

The Eastside Union School Board would like to thank those who contributed to a leadership profile for its Superintendency, and to the candidates who shared their visions for the District during interviews.

Dr. Fullwood is planning to begin her new assignment on or before March 1, 2024. Assistant Superintendent Donna Smith will continue to serve as interim superintendent until Dr. Fullwood begins her new role.
