The shirts said it loud and clear: At EUSD, I AM KIND!
Students and staff across Eastside Union School District celebrated Unity Day on October 21, sharing moments of kindness, connection, and school pride as part of the district’s October Bullying Prevention Month activities.
Throughout October, EUSD schools have encouraged students to put these words into practice through classroom activities, conversations, and everyday interactions with their peers.
As part of the district’s Kindness Challenge (October 5–29), students are encouraged to make positive choices, show respect for others, and contribute to a welcoming school environment. Students have also been invited to sign their schools’ kindness banners, making a visible commitment to kindness.
While Unity Day is an opportunity to celebrate, its message extends beyond a single day. Kindness, compassion, and inclusion help build a school community where students feel safe, supported, and valued.
Students and families can report concerns about bullying, harassment, or student safety through EUSD’s Report a Concern page. Sharing concerns helps the district connect students and families with appropriate support.
Together, these moments reflect the spirit of Unity Day and the many ways EUSD students and staff are building a kinder, more connected school community.
