On February 19, students took the stage in teams of five during this friendly trivia-style competition focused on African American history and the civil rights movement. As questions were presented, classmates cheered on their peers and celebrate their knowledge.
The activity created an engaging learning experience while encouraging teamwork and curiosity about important moments in history. Students answered questions about influential leaders and historic events that helped shape the civil rights movement and as well as many other influential African Americans past and present.
Activities like this bring learning to life while giving students opportunities to connect classroom lessons with interactive experiences.
