EUSD Hosts Annual Community Appreciation Breakfast

EUSD hosted its annual Community Appreciation Breakfast on May 31, bringing families, staff, and community members together to recognize those who have gone above and beyond in support of our schools.

The celebration began by honoring parents from across the district who consistently participated in school events, supported campus activities, and remained actively involved throughout the year. Each was presented with a certificate of appreciation as a thank-you for their continued involvement.

Next, district-level recognitions were given to parents serving on committees such as DELAC and AAAC. These families take on leadership roles and provide important feedback to help shape district initiatives.

EUSD also recognized key community partners whose collaboration strengthens districtwide efforts. Organizations such as Project Joy, AVPH, and Rescue Mission Alliance were thanked for their work in providing student presentations, hosting wellness activities, and supporting family events and food distributions throughout the year.

To close the ceremony, one standout parent volunteer from each school site was awarded the "Golden Apple," a special recognition for those whose service and commitment have made a meaningful impact on their school community.

Raffle prizes were given out throughout the morning, adding an extra sense of fun and appreciation. EUSD is thankful to everyone who continues to support our schools, students, and families. Congratulations to all who were recognized!
